As a ministry of Living Hope Lutheran Church, Here We Grow provides a warm, nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive in a happy, loving, and safe environment. Our mission is to help children and families grow through the enrichment of mind, body, and spirit in a Christ-centered environment that encourages both social interaction and academic development.

We also place a strong emphasis on nature-based learning. Children spend time outdoors daily in spaces designed for exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning experiences.

Our outdoor spaces include:

  • Infant and toddler outdoor areas

  • Outdoor classroom and mud kitchen

  • Meadow walking paths and stroller routes

  • Age-specific playgrounds

  • Trike paths

  • Small wooded areas for nature exploration

Opportunities & Qualifications

We regularly seek team members for a variety of roles, including teachers and caregivers serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and young children.

Preferred qualifications may include:

  • Age 18 or older

  • Completion of Wisconsin foundational early childhood courses (or willingness to complete them)

  • Early Childhood Education credentials, associate's or bachelor's degrees, or related education

  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably work at a child's level

Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available depending on current staffing needs. As a church ministry, all staff are expected to be comfortable working in a faith-based Christian environment and upholding ELCA values, but we have no expectation of church membership.
